For researchers
We support researchers from many disciplines (including political science, machine learning, human-computer interaction, democratic theory, corporate governance, and institution design) who are working on ensuring our governance mechanisms are fit for a world with AI by:
- Maintaining a living map of high impact open problems and R&D needs
- Routing funding towards strategic and impactful research
- Creating shared frameworks and systems to enable more coordination and accumulation of insights over time

The Deliberation and Technology Network
The Deliberation and Technology Network (“DelibTech” network), which we co-organize with DemocracyNext, is a global network of technologists, practitioners, and experts who are building, studying, and using technology to enhance deliberation and to create digital infrastructure for deliberative democracy. Among other goals, the network aims to increase learning and R&D feedback loops between those building and using deliberative tools.
